Stroke Awareness Oregon (SAO) is a nonprofit created by physicians, stroke patients and community members to help stroke survivors and caregivers find support and resources for their best recovery. We have had the privilege of working with their staff and stroke survivors to produce videos from stories of hope that there is life after stroke, to informational videos on the processes of recovery and, of course, the household acronym F.A.S.T. In February, we created both English and Spanish versions that you will be seeing both on TV and hearing on radio during the next few months. Click on the video below to see the PSA.
SAO brought us on to help increase community engagement and awareness of stroke. They were having trouble getting new videos and exposure across their YouTube channel and with TV advertisements, and we helped build out a plan to increase community awareness of stroke. After consulting with them, we were able to help with Youtube page management services and build out a year-long plan for them by using a wide range of services, but focusing primarily on engaging their clients through short and medium length videos.
